Every commission begins with colour. Raw silk is dyed in small lots to a swatch matched against your skin in daylight — never under studio light.

Hand
The karigars who work our frames have held the aari hook for decades. A single hem can take three weeks. We do not shorten it.
III
Form
A muslin toile is cut and pinned to your measurements before a metre of silk is touched. The garment is proven in calico first, always.

By appointment only
The studio takes a limited number of commissions each season so that every client sits with Manisha Jain personally. Appointments run for an hour, sometimes two — there is tea, and there is no hurry.

Trained in drafting and pattern-cutting, self-taught in everything after. Manisha's work sits between the two things Indian couture rarely holds at once: heirloom craft and a modern, unfussy line.
She still draws every commission by hand before it reaches the table.
